The out-of-hours service operates:
Monday to Friday 6.30pm - 8.00am
Weekends - Friday 6.30pm - Monday 8.00am
To access the out-of-hours service please telephone 08444 771798 (Woodlands) or 08444 771807 (Clerklands) where you will be directed to the service.
Urgent Treatment Centre (24 hours)
Crawley Hospital, West Green Drive, Crawley, RH11 7DH
Tel: 01293 600385
The Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) formerly known as the Walk-in Centre is situated at Crawley Hospital (formerly the Accident and Emergency department).
It is open 24 hours a day and can deal with most minor accidents including broken bones, sprains, burns etc. It can also deal with most moderate illnesses such as infections if you cannot get to see your GP.
If you feel you have a major problem or life-threatening situation it is more appropriate to call 999 or make your way to A & E at East Surrey Hospital.
If your surgery is closed and you feel you need to see a doctor before it re-opens, please phone the surgery and you will be given instructions on how to access the out-of-hours GP service, who will either
give you advice over the phone and arrange for you to be seen at the base (which is also situated at the UTC at Crawley Hospital), or arrange a home visit for you.
